茅山 (Mao Shan) is one of the key place in the history of Taoism (See wikipeedia)

The mountain started to be famous in Taoism history starting from 153BC. Most of the historical temples have been destroyed. On the top the main temple, rebuilt and renewed is still well known a place for prayer.

A big part of the Belgium I like is captured in this picture. Two friends having a fondue Bourguignone, sharing their wine at 3pm on a sunny day while outside, half of Brussels' Marolles district is in the street for the zinneke.org parade.

I like the winter lights of Shanghai. I have already published a short expo on BOP about Winter in Shanghai but I could spend all my winter days walking in the crisp air of the city.
This picture has been taken in Taikang Road area. Behind the wall there is a huge hole - the roots of the new shanghai under construction.

another image of the Shanghai winter - 2009. This street is around 2km east of Xu Jia Hui. I was following a woman and her mother. As she had some difficulties to walk, they had a break just in front of this huge living zone.
